Parents Zone

At Olney Infant Academy, we are constantly seeking innovative ways to enrich both teaching and learning experiences. We firmly believe that education is a collaborative effort, and during your child's time with us, we encourage a strong and supportive partnership between home and school. Research shows that when parents are actively involved in their child's education, it significantly enhances their overall learning experience and outcomes.

To foster this partnership, there are numerous ways you can take an active role in your child's educational journey. Some of these include:

  • Attending parent-teacher evenings to discuss your child's progress and set shared goals.
  • Reading regularly with your child at home, which strengthens literacy skills and nurtures a love for books.
  • Volunteering to accompany children on school visits, providing extra support and enriching their learning beyond the classroom.
  • Participating in school events like SPLAT- stay, play, learn, all together, summer fair, colour run which offer opportunities to engage with your child’s peers and teachers in a more relaxed, way.
  • Keeping the school informed about your child’s well-being, enabling us to tailor our support and care to meet their individual needs.

We greatly value the contributions that parents make to our school community and the positive impact it has on your child's education. Together, we can help your child flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
