Vision & Values

"Happily Learning Together"

This simple phrase encompasses our ethos. We strongly believe that for children to learn they need to be happy. If you have already visited our school you will know that the children are happy, friendly, polite, and well-behaved.

They are a joy to work with and our staff love coming in each day almost as much as the children do! And it is not just the children who learn; staff at all levels are constantly developing, seeking higher qualifications and working with other schools to share best practice to try to make our school even better.

We embrace the core values of our Trust:

We are Fun

We are Unique

We are Together

We are Unafraid

We are Responsible

We are Energetic

We are Strong

With the core values as our heart, our intention is to bring our vision to life by:

  • Providing a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Respecting and valuing others and ourselves
  • Giving everyone the opportunity to achieve their full potential
  • Preparing children for their future
  • Putting the school at the heart of the community

Our learning environments are designed to create calm, focus and purpose. Our intention is that the classrooms are owned by the children and evolve with the children. These personalised environments allow children to be proud and take pride in their school and their classrooms, celebrating their own successes and the achievements of their peers.

We never underestimate the ability of our children and pride ourselves on the high expectations we have; there is no cap on learning. We build on what children already know but with clear insight into what comes next. This includes our close working relationship with Olney Middle School.

Olney Infant Academy is part of the Inspiring Futures Through Learning (IFtL) Multi-Academy Trust, is based in the rapidly expanding Milton Keynes. We have 13 schools in our trust within Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire (July 2020). Each school has its own unique identity and personality. However, we all share the same core goal: to strive to provide a world-class education provision for all children.
